Upcoming Events - Children
Hi kids and parents,
We just finished up with the Independence Day Parade in Dania Beach. To paraphrase my favorite (newer animated) movie "Adventure is out there!" and it
was an adventure for us today. Thank you to all the kids, parents, and adult students who supported the parade. A special thanks to Mr. Mardis for supplying
the truck. It made the day extra cool.
Each dojo will have a special event during the summer months. Watch for the flyer on your training day for a special upcoming event.
On Friday, July 23rd, we'll be putting on a small demonstration at an Adult Day Care in Davie. The show will go on at 10am and we'll be there for
about an hour. If you are not already signed up to go and would like more information, just write me.
In July, Master Kelljchian holds a competition on the beach in Fort Myers. Write me for details. It is a great excuse to take a long weekend at the beach.
Finally, Master Kelljchian has a beach workout on August 10th (Tuesday) at the Dania Pier. If you would like more information.....you know the drill:

July 10th (Saturday) Fort Myers Shiai 10am

The Lani Kai Hotel in Ft. Myers 1400 Estero Blvd. Ft. Myers, FL

1. Take I-75 to Bonita Beach Rd., Exit 116.
2. Head west toward the beaches.
3. Keep right to get onto Estero Bevd. (CR 865).
4. Travel about 10 miles. The hotel is on the left.
If you call for reservations, tell them you are with the karate group.
We'll have a group dinner that evening. You need tickets in advance for the
dinner.
August 10th (Tuesday) Beach Workout Hosted by Master Kelljchian 6:30 pm
Dania Pier
Take Sheridan Street to US1
Turn left on US1 and go to Dania Beach Blvd.
Turn right onto Dania Beach Blvd. and head to the beach.When you get to the
bridge over the intercoastal stay to the left and follow the signs to the pier.
August 28th (Saturday) Children, Adult, and Tag Team Shiai 10am
Cooper City Dojo
Take Griffin Road west to 90th Ave.
Turn left and take 90th Ave. west to 50th Place.
The Cooper City dojo is located on the SW corner of 90th Ave. and 50th Place
There is parking on the west side of the building.
I'll see you in the dojo.
